It’s got coffee, cacao, protein and a whole lot of healthy fat. What it doesn’t have is sugar. But that doesn’t stop it from satisfying and powering up your morning routine. The combination of fat and caffeine gets your engine going without the jittery feeling that sugar can give you when you add it to coffee.
On a side note, I like to use organic coffee as it is a crop that is generally heavily sprayed when grown conventionally, and these chemicals wind up concentrated in the final product.
Cacao adds beautiful chocolate flavor. And antioxidants! And another jazzy boost of caffeine.
The fat comes from coconut oil, a beautiful green avocado and a generous serving of coconut milk.
Almond butter adds protein, along with a serving of plant-based protein powder.
Flaxseed meal is another source of healthy fat and fiber. Cinnamon aids in balancing blood sugar.
