Tropi-Kale Smoothie


Another great way to drink your kale.  Easy, bright and green.  This smoothie includes pineapple and coconut water for a tropical flavor.

Avocado provides creamy, healthy fat.


Lime brightens and delivers a dose of vitamin C, along with potassium . Potassium is important for maintaining nerve function and great blood pressure levels.


A fragrant, ripe pineapple.  Rich in bromelain, which may counter inflammation in the body.  And kale – the best green of them all, offering vitamins A, K, C, B6, maganese, calcium, copper, potassium, magnesium and more iron per once than beef!


So yummy!


Tropi-Kale Smoothie

1 1/2 c. coconut water

1 c. kale, stems removed

1 c. fresh pineapple, chopped

1 heaping Tablespoon avocado

juice of half a lime, or to taste


Combine all ingredients in a a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
